How Telecare Works (From Referral to Care)

Telecare makes it easy to access specialist healthcare without the need for in-person visits. Here’s what the typical process looks like:

  1. Referral

    • Your GP or healthcare provider can send a referral directly to us.

    • Some services may also allow self-referrals online.

  2. Booking

    • Once we’ve received your referral, our team will contact you to confirm details.

    • You’ll receive an appointment time, usually within 1–3 weeks.

  3. Telehealth Consultation

    • At your scheduled time, you’ll join your appointment using a secure video link.

    • No special software is needed — just a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access.

  4. Follow-Up

    • After your consultation, your healthcare provider will send a summary back to your GP.

    • If ongoing care is needed, we’ll arrange future appointments.
